Tourbillon Clock Kit for Adults
The Spherical Tourbillon Chronograph is a mechanical wooden clock kit built around a rotating escapement cage suspended inside a 155mm sphere. The 218 engineered wood pieces press and screw together, so the gear train stays visible and serviceable after assembly.
Most wooden clock kits for adults finish as static decor. This one keeps moving: wind the key spring and the sphere alternates between rotation and pause while the escapement ticks in the open.
How the Spherical Tourbillon Works
A tourbillon carries the escapement inside a rotating cage so that gravity acts evenly on the balance from every angle. This model turns that cage through 360 degrees along two axes at once, which is what gives the mechanism its armillary sphere look while it runs.
Building the Wooden Clock Model
Assembly runs two to four hours through numbered laser cut parts and an illustrated English manual. It suits a builder who has already finished a 3D wooden puzzle or two and wants a working mechanism rather than another display shell.
