Mechanical Transmission Wooden Puzzle Airship
Sailing In Fog is a 3D mechanical airship puzzle assembled from 515 laser cut wooden pieces. A steampunk zeppelin with a sailing ship deck rides on a geared support column, and the built in mechanical transmission sets the gear train in motion once the build is complete.
Steampunk Airship Model Kit for Adults
The hull combines curved balloon ribs, rigging lines, and a carved wooden deck in the style of a fantasy trading vessel. Warm wood tones and green accent panels give the finished zeppelin the look of a collector display model for shelves, desks, and steampunk rooms.
Working Gear Transmission
The support column carries an exposed gear train that animates the airship above its drum base. Every cog is laser cut from wood, and the open frame keeps the whole mechanism visible while it runs.
Assembly Experience
The kit includes numbered wooden boards, an illustrated step by step manual, and all non wooden components needed to finish the model. Expect 7 to 10 hours of focused building; a quality wood glue (not included) helps secure the connections. A latch lock design lets you open sections of the hull for a closer look after assembly.
