Wooden Marble Run Castle You Build
The Fortress Marble Cascader is a wooden marble run kit that assembles into a castle shaped gravity tower. 227 laser cut plywood parts and 10 marbles come in the box, so the finished marble track runs straight after assembly with no batteries and no motor.
Marble Run Mechanisms Inside the Fortress
- Tower distributor: splits marbles between routes so consecutive runs take different paths down the castle
- Crane lifter: hand operated lift that carries marbles back to the top of the tower to start the next run
- Spiral slopes and switches: curved wooden ramps and flip gates that change direction mid descent
- Cogs, gears and wheels: the moving parts that make the track a mechanical model rather than a static ornament
