Garden House Book Nook for a Bookshelf Gap
This DIY book nook kit builds a miniature garden house that slots into the gap between books on a shelf. The TGB06 design is a french styled townhouse front with an arched door, dark ribbed glass panels and a curved staircase visible through the transparent PET walls, lit from inside by a touch activated warm LED.
What the Garden House Book Nook Kit Includes
- 176 precision cut parts: basswood, acrylic and PET sheets that press and glue together over roughly 5 hours
- Touch activated LED: warm interior lighting that switches on with a tap, so the diorama reads as a lamp at night
- Working details: side opening windows and doors, a retro curved staircase and a planted garden facade
- Illustrated instructions: step by step numbered guide plus the assembly tools needed for the build

Building the Miniature Garden House
Assembly runs front to back: the floor and side walls first, then the staircase and interior furnishings, then the glazing and the roofline. The LED strip is routed behind the walls before the facade closes, so the wiring stays hidden once the miniature house is finished.
