Mechanical Crab Built From 700 Metal Parts
This crab model kit assembles into an articulated mechanical crab from more than 700 precision cut metal parts. The translucent coloured carapace leaves the gearwork, pistons and wiring visible, so the finished 3D metal puzzle reads as a machine rather than a plain figurine.
Parts snap and screw together with the included tools, with no glue or paint needed. Expect 8 to 14 hours of build time spread across several sessions.
Poseable Legs And Working Pincers
Both claws open and close, and the eight jointed legs hold a pose, so the assembled crab can be restaged on a shelf. The eye stalks and shell plates are separate machined parts, which is where most of the piece count goes.
Two colourways are available, a crimson red shell and a teal green shell, both over the same stainless steel frame and brass gear detailing.
