Horse Drawn State Coach in Laser Cut Wood
This 3D wooden model kit builds a royal carriage, the enclosed horse drawn state coach used by European nobility, complete with spoked wheels, glazed door panels and a crown above the roofline. It is a static display model rather than a rolling toy, so the finished coach holds its shape on a shelf.
What the Royal Carriage Kit Includes
- 92 laser cut pieces: a short parts count that keeps the build about 1.5 hours, suitable for a first wooden model
- 2mm linden plywood: pale close grained sheets that keep the fretwork on the windows and roof crisp

Building the Coach
The parts push out of the plywood sheets by hand and lock together in numbered order, starting with the coach floor and ending with the wheels and roof crown. Working the four wheels last keeps the thin spokes out of the way while the body is assembled.
