Mechanical Seahorse 3D Metal Model Kit
This steampunk seahorse is a 2100 piece 3D metal puzzle that builds into a 40 cm mechanical sculpture with an illuminated sphere at its core. Stainless steel, iron and copper parts join with screws only, so no glue is needed anywhere in the build.
Steampunk Seahorse Build and Lamp Sphere
- 2100 metal parts: laser cut plates, gears, rivets and spined fins that layer into a detailed seahorse body
- Lit centre sphere: choose the PLANET globe or the FIREWORKS burst light, both powered as a display lamp
- Screw assembly: mechanical connections throughout, tools included, no adhesive required
- Poseable tail and fins: the coiled tail and fin plates adjust so the finished model can be styled on its base
- Lamp stand duty: the finished sculpture supports display items under 500 g

Fun and challenging - I love doing little building kits like this. I checked the difficulty levels of many items and it said this was in the middle so I decided to give it a try. Easy to follow instructions, but the tiny pieces make it hard. I love it! I’ve got the seahorses head built so far, can’t wait to finish the rest!
Never knew it would be this good - I’m having so much fun with this ! The quality of the pieces are very good and is as advertised. The instructions are easy to follow . The biggest challenge is dexterity in getting some of the parts in tight places, but the feeling of accomplishment is huge . Highly recommend this hobby
Gift that keeps on giving - This was an interesting find, came in very nicely packaged and in timely manner. Parts are very clearly marked and separated. Instructions are clear and with pictures. This was a gift and they are extremly satisfied with the quality and precision of parts.

The box is heavy and the materials are legitimately solid metal and very nicely constructed material. The project is on its way. So far I’m very pleased with the size of the seahorse, the instructions and the process of how it goes together.

Mind bender - Wow!!! What a challenge but well worth it I worked on it for several hours, okay months. A few hours at night after work. I give it 5 stars in all categories.

If you buy more than one at the same time expect 2 shipments - Good product on the scorpion not sure about the seahorse yet. They will work with you. But never told me there were 2 shipments so i thought they never shipped one of them
