Luminous Steampunk Wasp Mechanical Model Kit

My son did it with my help. Ideal for table decorations as well as for those insect lovers.

Awesome little wasp to put together. Definitely not for those looking for something quick or easy but, It was a really fun activity during quarantine. Also, the fact its a Bluetooth speaker is really neat. Recommended it to my friends who like putting little creations together.

It was fun to build, directions could be more magnified, but still fun.

The ball is cool, but the axis needs constant tightening, especially the legs, ugh...

This is a fun product to assemble, with a fairly decent quality speaker.

I bought this for adult son who has always liked building things. It's a bit of a challenge and a bit tedious...but it was also relaxing because you clear your mind to get it together. Very attractive when complete. Great conversation piece. Speaker a little bonus.

Had a lot of fun assembling this even though it was a pain in the butt at times (especially for putting the legs together), but seeing it come together in the end made it so worth it. Also, 5/5 customer support.

You need to tighten the screws on the legs or it will make you do it over again.

Firstly, yes, the instruction photos could be better. All said though it's pretty intuitive. Just remember when you're mounting the legs, the pyramid points down. The speaker isn't going to rock the house (frankly my phone does a better job) but this is ment to be a really neat bit of tat, not a sound system. The tools included are more than adequate (kinda slick really) and the little bag with a few spare parts shows some thought and consideration was put into the kit. All and all a great purchase for yourself or if you have a tinkerer in your life. Might gift a couple myself.

The speaker that was with this was easy better than anyone thought it would have been. Looks cool to!

I’ve done 10 of these so far and really enjoy them. I mount them to picture frames and hang them up. Also I put all the parts in labeled bead trays, makes it easier.

Built this over a few days and found the instructions really helpful and accurate which for me makes a pleasant change to some of the kits out there. The end result looks stunning and I am using it as an uplighter for my big house plants which not only does the job brilliantly but also acts as a great conversation piece.

I had so much fun putting this together. The directions are very clear and the parts fit together so there is no need for glue. You do have to be gentle because some of the parts have to be worked into their locked position and if you push too hard you will break something.

I enjoyed building this model. I would say it’s challenging but straightforward. My only complaint is regardless of how much I’ve tightened the pieces ,they eventually loosen. The base that holds the wasp doesn’t have enough weight capacity and eventually falls. The finished product does look beautiful , but handle with extreme care.
