Each wooden sheet slots into a detailed miniature inn with tiered green roofs, paper lanterns, and a hot-spring courtyard. It is a hands-on DIY craft kit for adult builders, model collectors, and fans of Japanese architecture.
Motion-Sensor Roof, LED Lighting, and Hidden Storage
This wooden model kit is built around working features. Move your hand near the top and a motion sensor opens the roof automatically, switching on the warm LED lighting inside the bathhouse. Beneath the scenery sit hidden storage compartments and a pull-out phone holder that turn the display piece into a practical desktop organizer for keepsakes and small items.

A Relaxing Wooden Model Build
The Onsen Saga rewards patient, mindful building. Pre-cut wooden sheets, printed scenery panels, an assembly jig, a screwdriver, sandpaper, and an illustrated manual are all included in the box. The build is rated intermediate to advanced and takes most adult builders about 4 to 8 hours across one or two sittings. Craft glue is not included, so prepare a craft adhesive or 3-in-1 craft glue before you start.

The plates are thick and sturdy so they can withstand a few mistakes. Colors are vibrant and detailed. Glue is required for a few parts as directed yet you may need more than just hand strength at times to slot pieces flush into place

This was not an easy build but I did it and the satisfaction level is high. The quality of the materials is great. The instructions could be clearer.
Overall it is an awesome product, nice quality, good materials, tight fit and sturdy feeling once assembled. The only things I would improve is to add color to the instructions, and also to have the storage boxes have more room to breathe because after sanding they still get jammed.
My hands hurt a lot because the parts didn't fit well during assembly. Could you give me some advice?
The final product is very whimsical but the material was very stiff and drawers were hard to pull. Our fingers hurt while assembling. Drawers require sanding and waxing in order for them to function properly.
